Personnel changes at Avanza

Anders Karlsson, Chief Product & Technology Officer, started his position at Avanza last week. Additionally, Nicklas Andersson, Savings Economist, has decided to leave Avanza for new challenges.

In accordance with previous communication, Anders Karlsson started his position at Avanza in June. Anders previously served as a Product Director at Klarna and has extensive experience within development, specifically focusing on product leadership, customer experience, and change management. His experience in the finance sector extends far back, to positions at both Handelsbanken and Nasdaq. Anders is one of ten members of Avanza's Group Management.

"Anders started last Monday and has already shown great leadership qualities. I feel very confident that he will lead the Product & Tech area to the next level, where innovation, world-class user experience, and increased efficiency are prioritised areas," says Rikard Josefson, CEO of Avanza.

"I have been welcomed with open arms and feel very inspired to further develop Avanza and our products together with all new colleagues. Through the possibilities of technology and our strong innovative power, I’m really looking forward to making savings even easier and more inspiring for our customers," says Anders Karlsson, CPTO Avanza.

Nicklas Andersson has announced that he, along with seven other colleagues, will be moving on to potentially competitive operations.

"Over the past few years, Avanza has grown significantly and is currently Sweden's leading platform for savings and investments with nearly 650 employees, who are working every day to deliver a strong customer offer. The individuals who are leaving are talented and liked colleagues who have been at Avanza for a long time. Nicklas is an appreciated colleague and stock profile who has taken on the role as Savings Economist with great skill for two and a half years. Needless to say, I, and many others, will miss him," says Rikard Josefson, CEO of Avanza.

The recruitment for a new Savings Economist will begin shortly. Until such a person is in place, Private Economist Felicia A Schön is available for savings queries.
