The number of customers at Avanza has during 2023 increased by 86,400, amounting to 10,800 net new customers in August. This resulted in 1,863,100 customers at the end of the month. Net inflow in August was SEK 6,400m, amounting to SEK 47,700m during 2023.
At the end of August, the Swedish Savings Barometer was published with statistics for the second quarter 2023. Avanza’s share of the net inflow to the savings market was 9.5 per cent, which is high for a second quarter. The share is always lower in the second quarter due to high inflows into occupational pensions, where Avanza’s market share is relatively low. Avanza’s total market share of the savings market decreased as a result to 6.6 per cent, from 6.7 per cent in the first quarter.
