We support and participate in a number of initiatives and collaborations.
Avanza Fonder, the part of the Group with its own asset management, has signed the UN Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI). PRI is the leading international proponent of responsible investment. Its aim is to promote responsible ownership among financial investors and encourage openness and awareness of environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors in the companies that these firms invest in.
ECPAT is a children’s rights organisation dedicated to ending the sexual exploitation of children. Avanza is a member of ECPAT’s Financial Coalition, a network of companies in the financial sector which, together with ECPAT Sweden and the Swedish police, tracks and prevents payments for child pornography. The coalition is also working to increase awareness of sexual exploitation of children.
Avanza is an active member and is represented on the Program Council of the national network Gilla Din Ekonomi, which is coordinated by the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority. The purpose of the network is to improve financial literacy by providing the public with information and education. Gilla Din Ekonomi primarily educates trainers, such as union representatives and budget and debt advisors, who in turn are expected to educate and inform others, so that the knowledge is spread.
