Avanza launches the world’s cheapest global fund

Avanza is challenging the Swedish fund market with Avanza Global, the world's cheapest global fund. The management fee is a low 0.05 per cent, making it cheaper and easier than ever for Swedish savers who are interested in funds.

“Avanza Global is a so-called feeder fund that invests in a global index fund. After extensive research together with Morningstar*, we haven’t been able to find a cheaper equivalent fund in the market, which we are fantastically excited about,” says Åsa Mindus Söderlund, CEO of Avanza Fonder.

The management fee for Avanza Global is 0.05 per cent and the total annual cost for customers is approximately 0.1 per cent, including annual fee and transaction costs. Right now this makes Avanza Global the world’s cheapest global fund for individual investors.

Avanza Global is a continuation and part of Avanza’s strategy to broaden its offering for new customers who don’t always want to actively manage their savings. Now it will be cheaper and easier to invest in the fund market.

“Avanza Global is a solid, broad-based long-term savings alternative, where the low fee will have a big positive impact on savers’ capital. This means more money for you and less for the bank,” says Rikard Josefson, CEO of Avanza.
